About the Course

This Course Is For You If: --You want practical, daily nervous system tools, not just theory --You feel stuck in patterns that insight alone has not shifted --You are a yoga teacher wanting trauma-informed language and tools --You are a licensed therapist interested in integrating trauma-informed somatic principles into your clinical work. Embark on an eye-opening voyage with this 8-week somatic skills course. Drawing from yoga philosophy, mindfulness meditation, and Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing®, this course empowers you to trust your body as a guide towards greater authenticity and presence. Learn to connect deeply, respond choicefully and get acquainted with your true Self. An optional Continuing Education (CE) track is available for licensed mental health professionals. This track includes clinical integration labs, a final assessment and course evaluation designed to support the translation of somatic and nervous system principles into clinical practice. The emphasis is on therapist-as-instrument development and the cultivation of embodied clinical presence. Meet Your Guide, Shauna Bergh, LMFT, SEP, E-RYT 500

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, EMDR practitioner, Somatic Experiencing® practitioner and E-RYT 500 yoga teacher specializing in trauma treatment and nervous system regulation, I bring over two decades of clinical and contemplative practice to this work. I am also a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider. My approach integrates neuroscience, somatic therapy and yoga philosophy to support you in accessing your body's innate wisdom and building embodied resilience. This course is grounded in trauma-informed principles and designed to support safety, integration and lasting change.
